About Gabriela De Vita
Gabriela De Vita is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in diabetes care, obesity medicine and preventive health. With a foundation as a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) and former Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, she combines medical and nutrition expertise to deliver comprehensive, personalized care.
Her healthcare career began in 2015 as a dietitian diabetes educator, and since becoming a PA in 2020 she has practiced in primary care and urgent care and is passionate about empowering patients to take control of their health. Gabriela has expanded her expertise to include advanced obesity management through evidence-based therapies, including FDA-approved GLP-1 medications and also offers expert support in diabetes care, insulin pump therapy, and continuous glucose monitoring (CGM).
Gabriela earned her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and Nutrition from Florida International University and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Detroit Mercy. She is NCCPA-certified and an active member of the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA) and the Society of Dermatology PAs (SDPA).
In addition to her work in general medicine, Gabriela is trained in aesthetic medicine as a certified Botox injector, offering treatments to help patients feel confident inside and out.
Originally from Venezuela, she is fluent in both English and Spanish.

However, I am rating the practice 3 stars due to significant administrative challenges. Reaching the office by phone is nearly impossible, and the digital tools they encourage, specifically the Healow app and their website forms, don't work. I would love to continue seeing Ms. De Vita, but reliable communication is essential for managing my healthcare.
