Getting to know Gabrielle DiVincenzo

Are you struggling to connect in the ways you desire with those you love; perhaps your child, spouse, sibling or parent? Do the arguments or distance you experience feel insurmountable and deeply painful? My specialty is facilitating growth, compassion and connection in relationship, whether I'm working with a short term couple, a married couple, siblings, or an entire family. My training combined with my organic personality and skillset set me apart from others. Being educated in "Systems Theory," I am specifically trained to be able to identify all of the many factors that impact our relational functioning, and bring to light how relationships "take on a life of their own" outside of the 2 or more individuals that comprise said relationship. If you feel powerless or jaded in your relationships with those you love the most, then you are in the right place. It's my personal mission to empower others to access the Love that already exists within, in order to facilitate a healing process that often has ripple effects throughout the family.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My style is not always conventional, but it's not too "out of the box" either. You can expect some fun activities, occasional "homework", and a safe place to release long held emotions. You can expect that I will work with YOUR needs and listen deeply to what works and doesn't work for you and your family. I am flexible, yet I stand sturdy with what I believe is effective and best for my clients. No matter what, I am always open to conversation around any aspect of treatment; as I am here to serve YOU, not the other way around.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

For my intake (fancy word for first session) , you can expect that whoever is aiming to seek treatment (couple or family) that ALL will be present in the first session. I may decide to meet separately with individuals afterwards, but it is not common, and I always make sure it is even (I would never meet with one person 1:1 and not the other) If I ever wish to have individual sessions, I will always explain why, and whatever is said in those sessions is 100% confidential.

In-network insurances

Out-of-pocket fees and assistance
Initial session: $275 for 75 minutes
Ongoing session: $200-235 for 55 minutes

The first session is an hour and 15 minutes to make sure we have ample time to get to know each other and for you to have the space you need to tell me everything you want me to know out of the gate, as well as for me to ask my necessary intake questions. From there, I charge $235 for 60 minute couples sessions and $200 for 50 minute individual sessions.

Gabrielle is as real as it gets! I will be forever grateful for her help and support. She is honest and uses her expertise in order to help you heal and become a better person. I always felt safe, respected, and empowered during and after our sessions. One thing I especially appreciated is that Gabrielle isn’t afraid to call you out on your stuff—in the most constructive and caring way. Sometimes that’s exactly what we need in order to truly grow. I highly recommend Gabrielle to anyone looking for a therapist who is both deeply knowledgeable and grounded.
Working with Gabrielle has been great. She understands both of our personalities and is able to help us see each other’s perspective. I have been impressed with her methods and focus on helping us reconnect and work through issues that we have struggled with in our relationship. I highly recommend reaching out to her if you are considering counseling. It’s not an easy first step, but looking back a year later I couldn’t be happier that I made it or that we picked Gabrielle.
Gabrielle was extremely professional. She made me feel comfortable. She had great empathy and she was always very interested in understanding the client’s perspective and a great listener. She helped me a lot during a time when things were really hard for me and I would recommend her to anyone. I already recommended family members to her.
Gabrielle is simply amazing, we connected on a leave that you don’t normally connect on. She was patient and knew how to ask the right questions, without feeling judged. I feel she has always provided a safe & judgement free environment right from the beginning. She has the ability to listen attentively and understand your perspective, I appreciate her valued insight and guidance through a very difficult time in my life. She showed me empathy and compassion which made me feel understood and cared for, the truth is I could go on and on about Gabrielle. Because I would not be where I am today if it was not for her. Thank you Michael Z.
I worked with Gabrielle for 2 years as her client for individual therapy sessions. I felt comfortable asking for what I needed in a therapist right off the bat with her. She was flexible with my hectic, erratic schedule. In our sessions, I can feel that’s she right in it with me, her presence never wavers. Could not recommend her more, Gabrielle is the best.
Working with Gabrielle was a life-changing experience for me. She created a safe, supportive space where I felt heard and understood from day one. Her insight helped me navigate some really difficult times. Her professionalism made me feel more grounded and empowered after every session. I worked with Gabrielle for a few years and it was the best decision I ever made. She helped me navigate some of the toughest times in my life and helped me see things through a new lense which helped me better understand myself. Her support was instrumental to my healing and helped me survive my darkest moments. Gabrielle’s ability to explain why I was feeling what I was feeling was something I found so much value from. I’ll always be grateful for the support I got and would without a doubt recommend Gabrielle!
