Dr. Crear began her education at The University of Texas at Austin where she earned Bachelors’ degrees in Biology and Government. She then took two years to live with her father in the Philippines and volunteered at a local hospital there, which only cemented her passion for medicine. That passion took her back to her hometown of Houston where she attended the prestigious Baylor College of Medicine for both medical school and Internal Medicine Residency. After completing her training she moved to Dallas and worked as a perioperative hospitalist from 2016-2019. Dr. Crear loves being at Thrive Medical Clinic and back in Austin, the city she first fell in love with during her college years. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and their rescue dogs. Her hobbies include traveling and reading as many books as possible.
