I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with experience providing compassionate, evidence-based care across the lifespan. My clinical focus includes the assessment and treatment of ADHD, depression, anxiety, and related mood disorders. I use a patient-centered approach that combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and medication management when appropriate, tailored to each individual’s needs. I am committed to creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered in their mental health journey. I provide care in English, Spanish, French, and Haitian Creole, helping to ensure accessible and culturally sensitive treatment for diverse populations.
What should a new client know about working with you?
My approach to care is warm, collaborative, and patient-centered. I take time to truly listen and understand each client’s unique story before working together to build a treatment plan that fits their needs and goals. I use evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and medication management when appropriate, to support lasting improvement. I focus on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable, respected, and actively involved in their healing journey.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
In the first session, clients can expect a welcoming, relaxed conversation in which we get to know each other. I will ask about current concerns, symptoms, and personal history to better understand your needs and what brought you in. We will also talk about your goals and begin exploring a treatment plan that feels realistic and supportive for you. My goal is for you to leave the session feeling heard, understood, and clear about the next steps.
