About Garrett D Freeman
Garrett D. Freeman, PA-C, grew up in Savannah, Georgia. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Florida and chose to remain there to pursue a Master's in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) at the University of Florida College of Medicine, receiving his MPAS in June 2002.
After completing multiple rotations in general medicine, Garrett developed a special interest in Dermatology. He joined Skin Cancer Specialists, P.C. in January 2006 with over three years of experience in the field. As a provider at Skin Cancer Specialists, P.C., Garrett practices general Dermatology and Dermatologic surgery and assists Dr. Chastain in Mohs micrographic and reconstructive surgery.
Garrett is licensed by the Georgia Composite Board of Medical Examiners and maintains certification with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. He is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and the Georgia Dermatology Physician Assistants organization.
Outside of work, Garrett volunteers as a track coach at Trinity Christian School in Sharpsburg, Georgia. He enjoys running, cycling, and exploring Atlanta's local activities with his four children.

That the PA I saw seem that he was in a hurry. He came in did a fast scan froze a couple of places and left the room. There are areas that I feel you didn’t take enough time to examine thoroughly. I want make another appointment with him.

I prefer this office compared to other local dermatology offices because the doctors and staff listen with an open mind ready to help and offer recommendations. My natural treatments are never scoffed at, and I’ve never been made to feel like I was just a number or that my treatment Was a buy one get one sale experience.
