Getting to know Garrett Jefferies
It can be really hard to see a provider for the first time, let alone talk about mental health. I understand that and strive to provide a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere where we can come up with a plan together. I hold a Bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University and a Master's in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Vanderbilt University, which equip me to support you with compassionate, expert care.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I'm laid back and like to have honest, simple conversation.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Generally during the first visit we will discuss your background and your hopes for our visits together as well as develop a plan. Each subsequent visit is to check-in and adjust things as needed. The first visit is usually about 1 hour and follow up visits are generally 30 min.

Garrett Jefferies is honestly one of the best providers I’ve seen. He really listens without rushing you, and it never feels like he’s just checking boxes. You can tell he actually cares and wants to get to the root of what’s going on, not just throw a prescription at you.
He explains things in a way that makes sense, and he’s super easy to talk to—even about stuff that’s hard to open up about. I felt comfortable right away, which is rare for me.
