He took the time to really listen—asking about what was causing my pain, my medical history, and what I was hoping to get out of treatment. That level of attention made a big difference.
After a thorough evaluation, including X-rays and hands-on analysis, he diagnosed me with plantar fasciitis in both feet. He clearly explained everything and walked me through a treatment plan focused on immediate pain relief, along with a set of home exercises to support recovery.
He also performed a scan for custom orthotics to help prevent the pain from coming back. Overall, I felt informed, supported, and confident in the care I received.”

About Dr. Garry Shtofmakher
Dr. Garry Shtofmakher is a graduate of the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his degree in 2015. Dr. Shtofmakher then went on to complete a three year comprehensive residency at St. Mary’s General Hospital in Passaic, NJ during which in his third year he served as chief resident. Throughout residency, Dr. Shtofmakher received training in forefoot and rearfoot surgery, trauma, treatment of lower extremity sports injuries, primary podiatric care, wound care and management of the diabetic limb. Dr. Shtofmakher is currently a Diplomate, American Board of Podiatric Medicine, and Fellow, American College of Podiatric Medicine. He is on staff at St. Mary’s General Hospital in Passaic, NJ. Dr. Shtofmakher is bilingual in English and Russian.
