I am a seasoned Clinical Psychologist with over thirty years of experience treating adults, adolescents, children, and couples. I earned my PhD in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology at National Louis University and completed a Fellowship in Clinical Psychology at Stony Brook University. I have served in a wide variety of clinical settings, including college counseling centers, hospitals, and outpatient clinics. I have extensive experience treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, personality disorders, interpersonal problems, and issues specific to couples.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I do not accept insurance policies currently, but will supply you with invoices that you may submit to your insurer.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

While each therapy relationship has its own unique rhythm requiring a flexible and creative stance on my part, my general approach is to facilitate a dialogue in which underlying needs, feelings, and desires can be better understood, often in the context of experiences early in life. My style is professional but casual. Overall, I strive to provide an environment in which a path to becoming more aware of, and feeling able to attain personal goals and aspirations can become clearer.
