Dr. Hathaway earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana in Urbana, Ill. and his medical degree from the University of Illinois Health Sciences Center at Chicago. He completed a general surgery residency at Boston University Medical Center in Boston, Mass. Board certified, Dr. Hathaway is an American College of Surgeons fellow and a member of the American Medical Association, Cobb County Medical Society, American Society of General Surgery, Society of Lapro-Endoscopic Surgeons and Atlanta Surgical Association.
