“The reception staff was very friendly and efficient. The medical assistant was thorough, respectful and welcoming. She took her time to go through all the questions and explained everything she was doing (blood pressure, heart rate and O2 levels). Dr. Cantrell was welcoming and made me feel very comfortable. He listened carefully, asked all the questions and gave me time to ask any question I had. I felt heard and understood and not rushed at all. Also, the lady from the lab was a magical.. barely felt a pinch when I went for blood tests she was precise and efficient. 1000/10 would recommend.”

This Doctor is a gem. For context, I usually just go in once a year to see my PCP for the physical/checkup and there has never been any issues so I am in and out, do my blood work, get my result over the phone, y basta.
My past doc would spend 5-10 mins seeing me and it always felt rushed. I was fine with this, since it was purely transactional and I am a busy man and just wanted to get back to business. I did however always have to wait 30 - 40 mins past my appt time to see said doc. Still living in NYC this was not uncommon and my dr was a gentleman and professional.
I recently moved to Denver and needed a new PCP and found Dr. Cantrell and saw that he had great reviews so I picked him for my wife and I. This visit was the first time I actually felt a Doctor actually cared for my wellbeing, and moreover I actually had a long conversation with him and enjoyed every minute of it. He has a calm energy to him and is genuine in every sense of the word. Best doctor I have ever had.

I haven't seen a GP in quite some time so figured it was time to establish one in Colorado — I took to ZocDoc and saw a number of great reviews for Dr. Cantrell and decided it was worth the nearly 2 month wait to get in with him due to that and the proximity to my home.
The appointment was less than thorough - I was asked some light questions, grazed over and then did some bloodwork.
The doctor told me that now that I've established myself as a patient that I can now get in touch any time through their "app" and establishing/booking care will be much faster.
I got some test results back that I had a lot of questions on and was concerned about and I've been able to get a response once from him in 2 weeks. I expressed the seriousness of what I'd like to address and followed up multiple times with complete radio silence.
Truly unacceptable (borderline negligent) and disappointing to have waited so long for this experience — I cannot imagine there is any sort of good excuse for this.

After going through some upsetting healthcare obstacles caused by my previous PCP, I am happy to report that I'm incredibly relieved after meeting Dr. Cantrell. The office was spotless, the receptionists were super friendly and knowledgeable, the nurses were engaging and knew the exact right questions to ask, and Dr. Cantrell was/is exactly what I'm looking for in a PCP. Dr. Gary Cantrell is one of the best doctors I have had the pleasure of seeing. He listened to, and carefully addressed, every one of my concerns. He took the time to explain the reasoning behind each test he did and the results to help me better understand what was going on. His bedside manner is unmatched and never once made me feel rushed. I felt so seen and heard by Dr. Cantrell that I am upset to be moving abroad knowing that I won't be able to find such good quality and empathetic care for a long time. Highly recommend!

The staff at the facility were incredibly friendly and quick workers. The office itself is quite lovely and very modern looking. Great view out of the windows. Went for a physical and was in and out within 30 minutes and got my bloodwork back the same day. The doctor was young and energetic and would be happy to see him again.

Loved my visit with Dr Gary C! He was really kind and listened well, and gave me the time of day which is always appreciated. Seems very easy going and gentle in his nature. I would definitely recommend him and will go back! Also I loved the nurse, Will! He was so kind and caring, really considerate and great bedside as well. Just happy all around.
The only thing that was slightly odd about my visit was when I checked out, there was "paperwork" to be done except instead of papers or an ipad, one of the front desk team members just asked me the questions aloud and then i'd sign. I found this a little invasive with others waiting in the office. It's not her fault but I would have preferred a different method. Not a deal breaker but I hope in receiving this feedback the office will consider an ipad (save the trees! :D
