About Dr. Gary Morris
Gary D. Morris, M.D., began practice in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2000. His areas of expertise include the lower extremities, including traumatic and congenital conditions of the foot and ankle and total joint replacements of the ankle, knee, and hip. Dr. Morris also specializes in arthroscopic procedures of the lower extremities.
Dr. Morris received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from San Diego State University in 1990. In 1994, he received a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. His surgical internship and orthopedic surgical residence were complete at Grace Hospital / Wayne State University in Detroit. He subsequently completed his foot and ankle subspecialty fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. During his fellowship training, Dr. Morris trained under Bill Hamilton, M.D., orthopedic surgeon for the New York City Ballet, American Ballet Theather, and School of American Ballet. Dr. Morris received further training in foot and ankle trauma surgery in Hannover, Germany, prior to joining Nevada Orthopedic & Spine Center.
For several years, Dr. Morris has treated professional athletes and performers from many of the largest and most popular shows on the Las Vegas Strip including Celine Dion’s “A New Day” and several Cirque Du Soleil productions.
Dr. Morris was born in Los Angeles.

Had an appointment for 1, didn’t get to the back until 2 and didn’t get seen by the doctor until almost 3. Had to cancel another appointment I had because of their poor time management. Basically told me nothing was wrong but I’m having terrible pain so that doesn’t help me at all. Wasted 3 hours just to be told nothing. Such a waste would never think about coming back here so disappointed.

It was easy to book my appointment online and the visit went very smoothly. My wait was a little longer because I'm a new patient and had additional forms to complete, but people were not waiting long to be called. Dr. Morris understood my pain issues, took an x-ray to confirm, and helped relieve my knee pain immediately with the help of his friendly staff. I will definitely return, if needed in the future.

What more can I say than Dr. Morris performed emergency Hip . Partial Implant surgery on me at 6 AM Saturday morning. At 5:30 AM prior to surgery, Dr. Morris was on the phone with my Orthopedic Sugeon regarding an existing Bone Infection in my knee...making sure that they were both on the same page...to prevent the spread to my hip.
...and not only did the infection not spread to the new Incision of about 8-10" long, but in 9 days including rehab, I was up and walking pain free and was discharged from the hospital
footnote : I had my cousin pick me up in my car...which I got in and drove us both home...Nope...I drove us ro Albertson's went grocery shopping and then home...I am a cery happy camper..Johnny A
