“It’s interesting, these reviews that ask for a short summary when you’ve just talked with a new complete stranger about the basic most private details of your messy life. You always want a great review of who you are about to pour your life out onto and It’s just the best thing in the world when this Psychiatric Assistant shows up and is an incredible hybrid of both a person who can prescribe and who will talk you through everything. It used to be Psychologist or Psychiatrist but with Gary you get both. He was an amazing listener, very patient, very professional. I knew his attention was on me and not on what was coming next. He did a thorough review of my medications, he tallied up all of my sometimes difficult and contradictory medical needs, He made me feel completely safe, seen and understood. He carefully prescribed a new medication and path for me. He was great. Absolutely recommend this fine Psychiatrist Assistant!”

Getting to know Gary Webb

I primarily focus on medication management / pharmacology for mental issues including depression, anxiety, PTSD/PTSI, OCD, psychosis, bipolar disorder, and ADHD. I also speak fluent Spanish. Before joining the team at Stella Mental Health, I worked for five years as a psychiatric nurse practitioner at a behavioral health center. While there, I gained experience working with clients with a wide variety of mental health diagnoses and needs. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, trying new foods, hiking, rock climbing, and spending time outdoors in other ways with my family. Please note: I am accepting new patients for ongoing medication management support. I do not provide therapy.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I graduated from the Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) specialty program at the Yale School of Nursing in May 2017. I have since moved back to Utah, where I enjoy being closer to my family and the mountains. I recognize all people are unique with different needs, desires, and goals. I seek to involve patients in creating a treatment plan focused on helping to meet their goals and live the life they want to live.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I start with a thorough evaluation to understand your history, current challenges, and priorities. Together, we create a personalized plan that may include medication management, therapy referrals, or lifestyle strategies to strengthen overall wellness. I check in regularly with patients, adjusting treatment as needed, and strive to create a safe space where you feel comfortable working through challenges and moving toward lasting change.

More information on payments and coverage

After scheduling your appointment, you will receive an email from Stella Mental Health (formerly Numinus) containing your intake paperwork. Please allow about 30 minutes to complete this form. Your responses will help your provider prepare for your upcoming appointment. All patients are required to complete the intake form 24 business hours before their appointment. You will receive a phone call from one of our dedicated Care Advocates, who can answer any questions you may have. Please be prepared to provide a credit card to keep on file for co-pays or cancellation fees. Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full intake appointment fee ($292). During your intake appointment, you’ll spend 60 minutes with your provider collaborating on a treatment plan tailored to your needs. If in-person treatments are recommended—such as TMS, Spravato, DSR SGB, or ketamine therapy—our care team will guide you through the process and ensure you feel supported every step of the way.
