About Dr. Gary Wiesman
Trained at Loyola University Chicago, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine, and completing his residency in Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Northwestern University, Dr. Wiesman has been practicing for over thirty-five years and is a Board Certified physician.
His new “state of the art” facility in Chicago's Gold Coast offers a professional and tranquil environment for patient procedures. Located at 712 North Dearborn, the facility houses two fully accredited operating suites, a recovery room, and examination rooms. Dr. Wiesman's surgical team includes a Board Certified Anesthesiologist and a registered nurse. Remarkably convenient for his patients, this is truly “one-stop shopping.”

Do elsewhere I am very unhappy with the surgery performed by Dr. Wiesman. He seems to rush through things and doesn’t care about patients’ happiness. I wish I would have gone to another surgeon. Waste of my time and money. I will have to get another surgery done.

I had surgery with Dr. Wiesman. He definitely does not make people feel comfortable and doesn’t really listen to your concerns. I ended up spending more going through him with insurance than just going to another infamous surgeon like Dr. Shah or Dr. Dayan and paying fully out of pocket. He performed the surgery at Amita health in Wicker Park which was a dirty hospital. I would recommend visiting other surgeons. I am not happy with the outcome of my surgery and Dr. Wiesman doesn’t seem to care about patients satisfaction. Do yourself a favor and research other doctors and facilities.

Waited for quite a while to be seen; the doctor was clearly in rush to have me out of there, didn't explain much about my situation and in general looked indifferent to me.

You know what , Im glad the doctor didnt beat it around the bush & stated an educated suggestion of what it is. As a patient I did not want to have the “run around” As I’ve been going about it for years !!!

I was a little taken aback by the doctor entering my room initially without a mask on and, upon seeing my mask, leaving to go put one on himself. There also didn't seem to be a lot of additional cleanliness protocols to address COVID concerns (sanitized pens, sanitized examination equipment- the doctor removed two wooden sticks and a metal instrument from a drawer with his bare hands (hadn't washed his hands when he came into o examine me) and set them on the counter on top of a piece of paper he brought in with him. Then, he used the metal instrument in my nose and the wooden sticks in my mouth :/ He was patient and explained things to me with no irritation, but he also faced away from me pretty consisently taking notes at a computer that faced completely away from me. It was an okay experience altogether!

My experience at this office was amazing! My check-in process was smooth even though I was 30 minutes late due to bus re-routes. She, as well as Gary, patiently answered any questions I had. Also, the office was neat and clean. Overall I had a great experience. I have no complaints. The customer service was great! I highly recommend!

Doctor was good and treatment was perfect too. Only problem being the payment as there is no online pay option, I had to again go to the clinic to pay in person as I was no comfortable sharing the credit card info in mailing option.
