About Dr. Geoffrey Kamen

***All new patients must pay a $65 non-refundable administrative fee, charged immediately at the time of booking, regardless of insurance status.
By scheduling an appointment, you authorize this charge. The fee applies even if the appointment is canceled immediately after booking.
Scheduling a new patient visit initiates immediate, non-recoverable administrative and clinical work, including chart creation, intake review, insurance verification, and appointment preparation. This work begins as soon as the appointment is booked and is completed whether or not the visit occurs.
This fee is separate from visit charges, evaluations, or memberships and is not waived for any reason.
About Geoffrey Kamen, MD
Board-certified family physician with over 20 years of experience in primary care, ADHD, mental health, and chronic disease management. Provides unrushed, physician-led care focused on clear communication and careful evaluation.
Services include primary care visits, ADHD evaluations and medication management (California patients only), mental health support, hormone therapy (BioTE, in person only), preventive care, and chronic disease management.
Hormone Therapy (In-Person Only)
Hormone therapy begins with an in-person physician evaluation. Initial in-person hormone evaluation is $395. Laboratory testing is ordered only if clinically appropriate and billed separately. Remote initiation is not offered.
Fees
One-time visits range from $89 to $349. ADHD evaluation is $495. ADHD membership is $100 per month.
Insurance
In-network with Cigna, Aetna, and Medicare. Coverage depends on the specific plan. All other visits are direct pay.
Missed Appointments
If a new patient misses a scheduled visit, a $300 no-show fee applies. In this case, both the $60 administrative fee and the no-show fee apply.

It think I was very lucky to meet Dr Kamer. On my initial visit with Dr Kamen, I found him to be intelligent yet caring in his approach, thorough and meticulous in his diagnosis, and he valued my input into his treatment plan. He took a comprehensive history without rushing and showed interest in everything I said. He advised me on possible side effects and interactions of a new drug that may, although rarely, occur. Dr Kamer is the calibre of doctor that the health profession needs, and cannot do without. I very much look forward to our second session.

This is the worst medical provider. They do not have a phone support when prescriptions are done wrong. I have tried to get help and contact the doctor but there is no response. The only way to contact the doctor is to book an appointment with him and pay for a consultation. It’s very unprofessional and they do not customer support.

He was slightly unprofessional talking about his personal problems a large part of the meeting. He also sent my prescription to the wrong pharmacy - a pharmacy that doesn’t fill these prescription. The pharmacy tried to contact him to inform him but he was unresponsive and as well the prescription couldn’t be moved to another pharmacy only through the doctor. I needed to book a second session with him because there was no contact number for support for this issue which made me pay for everything twice.
