Dr. Ellis is a graduate of Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, NJ. He completed his psychiatric residency at Cooper Hospital/University Medical Center in Camden, NJ where he served as Chief Resident his senior year. Dr. Ellis has served as Assistant Medical Director in the community mental health center of Gloucester county for 28 years providing care to a diverse population. Additionally, Dr. Ellis maintained a private practice for 15 years, treating individuals and their families with ongoing collaboration with therapists and other health care providers.

Because we accept insurance, we can reduce out-of-pocket expenses and still offer high-quality care. You may not have any cost related to your visit with us, depending upon your insurance plan. Most patients pay a small copay per visit, subject to any deductible or coinsurance that your health plan has. The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services determines appropriate billing guidelines. These guidelines depend on the length of the visit and the complexity and severity of your diagnosis. For this reason, we need to wait until after the visit for the final determination. We then submit the claim to your insurance company. The charges are calculated based upon pre-negotiated prices with your insurance company. Your insurance company will then determine what amount, if any, is your responsibility per your insurance plan.

In light of my growing anxiety as a first time patient, I was welcomed by an exceptional, relatable, and most importantly, highly experienced psychiatrist, Dr. George, Ellis, MD.
Dr. Ellis obliterated all signs of reluctancy and in the end, made a recommendation that addresses two of my opposing diagnoses with only 1 medication.

The doctor is very informative. Takes the time to listen to all concerns, provides valuable information and a tailored recommendation to treatment. I have never had a Dr genuinely care so much about a patient. He even took extra time to explain and work with my other providers to resolve other issues. Recommended a plan and alternatives. Made me fully feel included and in control of my treatment and provided resources to research as well if I had additional questions. The best care I have received in a long time, definitely recommend!
