Dr. George Younis was born and raised in Houston, TX. After completing undergraduate education at Brown University, he attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas. He completed internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Tufts-New England Medical Center in Boston and served an additional year as Chief Resident. He then returned home to Houston for training in cardiology at Baylor/St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital, where he subsequently trained an additional year for further specialization in Interventional Cardiology.
Dr. George Younis has been in practice in the Texas Medical Center for over 10 years and currently serves as the Associate Director for Cardiology Education for the Texas Heart Institute Cardiology Fellowship Program and plays a central role in teaching cardiology fellows in general and interventional cardiology. He also serves as the Medical Director for PCI/STEMI Services at Baylor-St Luke's Medical Center, a position giving him oversight of the management of acute heart attacks treated at the hospital.
Dr. George Younis is Board Certified in Internal Medicine (2001, 2011), Cardiology (2005, 2015), and Interventional Cardiology (2006, 2016). He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology as well as the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Intervention. George Younis is also an Associate Professor of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine.

I had a great experience here! Nearly all previous cardiologists I've seen have done their best to scare me into their preferred treatment option. This visit was completely different. The doctor was very easy-going, laid out my options, and made it clear that he would help me with whatever choice I made.

My experience at Dr. Younis office was flawless.
Staff was aware of my booking, I was admitted right away and an NP took my blood pressure and performed an ECG.
Afterwards, we discussed the issue with Dr. Younis, who was prepared and personable .

Dr. Younis' office is beautifully organized and professional. Dr. Younis is relaxed and friendly but very aggressive in handling any of your medical problems or potential problems. This is among the most modern and up to date Medical Offices I have seen. Couple of issues which may prevent me for returning back
1. Parking charges are too high, so every minute you wait is expensive
2. Though most of the patient I saw was immediately attended, but for some reason I don't know I had to wait too long for my turn.
