About Dr. Gerald Andah
Dr. Gerald A. Andah has been interested in the management of hip and knee conditions throughout his career. He is a fellowship-trained adult hip and knee reconstruction specialist. Dr. Andah is an author of articles in orthopaedic literature that focus on better understanding arthritic conditions of the hip and knee as well. He founded a free orthopaedic clinic for immigrants and uninsured patients during his training, a testament to his dedication to all communities he serves.
Dr. Andah completed his undergraduate courses, medical school and orthopaedic residency at the distinguished University of Pennsylvania, an Ivy League institution. He then went on to do fellowship in adult reconstruction at Montefiore Medical Center in New York. He is skilled in general trauma, knee arthroscopy, direct anterior approach hip replacements, posterior approach hip replacements, robotic-assisted hip and knee replacements, as well as hip and knee revision surgery. Outside of Dr. Andah’s dedicated work time, he enjoys basketball, spending time with family and travel.

I was seen and told that I needed physical therapy for my condition and once I went out to the doctor’s assistant she told me I didn’t have to wait but that she would email the referral to me. After more than a week’s wait I never got it. In extreme pain with no referral.
