“I had a few small issues but it was when Dr. Chia was out of the office and I think it was when he got back that everything got fixed. He's a wonderful listener, always encourages me, and tells me when I'm doing well. I've never had a doctor take the time to do that with me before, and I've been seeing doctors my whole life. He really is special and I hope that others book appointments with him, because I know they will have the same experience I did. I'd recommend him to anyone! 5 stars for sure. Take the risk, switch doctors!”

This is about the 3rd time I’ve tried to get in touch with this provider. The office acts like they take your information down to contact later when in reality they rush you off the phone. I’m not sure why he has appointments available on this app when he doesn’t attempt to reach out to patients.

The first time I booked it took him at least 30 mins to join the call. I had to call the office to remind him he had an appointment with me. He prescribed me two medications for my diagnosis I was already aware about and told me to contact him if it was working out for me. The prescription has no refills and he has been ignoring me. Poor communication.

Dr. Gerald Chia is very compassionate, and made me feel very comfortable. Listening is his strong suit, and was very prompt about sending in my medications right after the appointment so that I could receive them the same day. A wonderful provider that I would recommend for all.

My appointment with this provider was more personalized care than I’ve ever experienced in my entire mental health treatment. He listened to exactly what my diagnosis are and what I’m struggling with currently. His understanding that mental health is constantly growing, healing and changing was the most refreshing thing I’ve heard in a very long time. It was my goal not to treat symptoms I have learned to manage with self help methods through years of therapy. He listened to the areas that I can and cannot manage without medication and for the first time I think I may have found someone that actually wants to help the current symptoms not EVERY mental health issue I’ve been diagnosed with. If I could give him a hundred stars I would!

My appointment time was the exact time I was scheduled for my appointment. This doctor is amazing. Hes a very good listener very well with his communication. And I feel very comfortable being able to ask him any questions and regards to my conditions or concerns that I have and he is very informative of any. Questions that I asked him.he takes his job. Very personal and is very passionate about what he does and cares about his patients. Period I highly recommend him.

Dr Chia is absolutely great I suffer from horrible generalized anxiety disorders and also ADHD and along with PTSD major depression, bipolar ADHD and he' will be my backup psychiatrist for me Dr. Chia is the only other doc I'll work with, my doc because he started me on lower anxiety meds land each month it was at giant I didn't even have to do anything... 5 maybe 5 months got to because he ordered meds that figure almost stable but anyway keep up the work

I recently had an appointment with Dr. Chia, and the experience was outstanding. He listened attentively to my needs, he brainstormed possible solutions with me, and, by the end, he provided a reasonable prescription. It must be difficult for any provider to instantly connect and develop a strong rapport with patients over video calls, but it's no problem for Dr. Chia. He knows what he's doing, it's clear he's passionate about mental health, and I'd recommend him to those seeking only the best.

Very friendly but I am extremely frustrated and unsatisfied with my visit. Called me and said he was busy and needed to push back my appointment 30 mins, ended up being 45. Actual virtual appointment went good but when trying to get my prescription he told me he’d call the pharmacy and get right back to me. I had to reach out to him multiple times before he told me the pharmacy was on break and he’d call me back. Never called me back, I had to reach out to him. Then when we finally got the right prescription placed, the pharmacy called me and told me they needed doctor authorization for my insurance to cover it, they told me they’d be in contact with him. It has been two days and they pharmacy told me he won’t return their calls, nor will he return mine to get my prescription that I very much needed. Extremely frustrated and unsatisfied, I will be going to another doctor to hopefully get my prescription
