Dr Mick is a good listener, and gave good, practical advice to address my questions/concerns about my health. He did not pressure me into one solution or another, just gave his honest medical opinion based on the latest medical guidelines. He also offered to recommend me to another trusted physician if I felt the need for a second opinion, but I trust what he said and will follow his advice. I appreciated his candor and his bedside manner.

I was made to feel that my symptoms were all in my head and was treated in a very condescending manner. There were many rude comments made to me - it seems to me that the intention was to make me feel stupid for even coming in to see the doctor. I left with no answers, no path forward, and a feeling of shame.

Dr. Mick is an anachronism. And I mean that as a compliment. Rather than the mere pursuit of revenue, Dr. Mick's motivation is positive patient outcomes through the practice of both art and science in medicine. A largely forgotten breed of doctor and a rare one, at that. He is he kind of doctor my father was back in the 60s; a practitioner who sees the whole patient and not just a constellation of symptoms. I appreciate his experience, his demeanor, and earnest interest in healing his patients. I'm fortunate to have lucked upon him when my previous doctor moved away.
