About Dr. Gholamreza Khoshnevis

Reza (Gholamreza) Khoshnevis attended Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences Faculty of Medicine (formerly National University of Iran) in Iran, where he completed his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1989, graduating at the top of his class. He subsequently joined Baylor College of Medicine, where he completed his internship and residency in internal medicine and was elected as a resident member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society. He then pursued fellowships in cardiology, interventional cardiology, and cardiac electrophysiology at Baylor College of Medicine, St. Luke's Medical Center, and the Texas Heart Institute, becoming one of the few physicians to be board-certified in both cardiology subspecialties. Throughout his career, Reza has demonstrated a deep commitment to patient care and has utilized the latest advancements in cardiology to provide comprehensive treatment for his patients. He has been very active in training medical residents and cardiology fellows and has won numerous teaching awards for excellence in educating the new generation of physicians and cardiologists. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications. In addition to his medical pursuits, he enjoys reading books on history and literature, listening to jazz music, and playing soccer in his free time. Reza values spending quality time with his family, finding solace and joy in their presence. His dedication to medicine, love for reading, and cherished moments with loved ones continue to shape his life and inspire those around him.
