About Gianna Lombari
Gianna is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She graduated from Boston University and went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude with a Master of Science degree in Nursing from Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts.
Gianna knew she was always destined for a career in the medical field because of her desire to care for and connect with others. She developed her excitement for dermatology while working as a medical assistant in Rhode Island where she discovered the gratification of helping adolescent patients develop confidence by clearing their acne. It was there that Gianna learned to assist in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and recognize many dermatological exanthems. Since becoming a nurse practitioner, Gianna has worked in a clinical setting treating various conditions including psoriasis, warts, rashes, actinic keratoses, and squamous and basal cell skin cancers. She is passionate about not only treatment but prevention of skin cancer and specializes in thorough skin exams. Gianna is skilled at cutaneous surgery, which includes surgical biopsies, cyst excisions, and skin tag/benign lesion removal. Gianna prides herself on her ability to formulate long-lasting relationships with patients and feels honored to treat patients of all generations.
When Gianna is not working or advancing her dermatology knowledge with continued education, she enjoys cooking new recipes and singing karaoke. As a newcomer to the area, Gianna loves to hear recommendations from her patients of new restaurants and activities she should explore around Long Island.

They detected and had spot checked for cancer on my face. The test came back positive for melanoma. Through their guidance I had it removed. In short it and they saved me from an uncertain future.

Had a little trouble getting set up with their patient portal for pre-check-in before the appointment, but I called in and they were very helpful and stayed on the phone until I was able to get into the system. Didn't have too much of a wait time in the office and the doctor was very nice and friendly. Will definitely go back there for any future dermatology needs.
