I'm disappointed because I didn't get my prescription refilled and that was the main reason for the appointment. I need my medication for my depression.

I’ve experienced significant improvement under Gilberto’s care. He genuinely cares about helping you feel better. He s different than other psychiatrists and I never feel rushed during the appointment; he always take the time to explain things in a way that make sense.
Gilberto was excellent! At first, I was skeptical of doing a virtual session, but my availability is limited, so conveniency won. I can now say I didn’t feel the difference. It was easy to connect and no wait time. I was able to open myself without judgement. He showed genuine interest, asked questions, and paid attention to my answers. I felt really good after the session.
I had a fantastic experience with Gilberto during our virtual session. He’s an excellent listener and made me feel completely at ease, even through a virtual setting. He was very attentive, taking the time to understand my concerns and helping me work through them in a thoughtful way. The session started on time which was great. I felt heard and supported throughout the entire conversation. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking a compassionate and professional psychiatrist!
Gilberto is one of the few providers that really listens. Not all providers take the time to listen and truly understand. He did and I felt understood. I felt comfortable every step of the way.
I had a consultation with Dr. Barciela recently, and I must say, it was a positive experience. From the moment I walked into the office, the staff was warm and welcoming, which helped to ease my nerves. Dr. Barciela took the time to listen to my concerns and truly made me feel heard. They asked thoughtful, insightful questions that helped me reflect on my mental health in a way I hadn't before. The session felt collaborative, and I appreciated how comfortable Dr. Barciela made me feel while discussing some difficult topics. They were empathetic and patient, explaining everything clearly and answering all my questions in detail. I never felt rushed, and I left with a clear understanding of the next steps in my treatment. Overall, I’m grateful for the experience and would highly recommend Dr. Barciela to anyone seeking professional mental health support.
I’ve seen Gilberto every week for one month and I’m seeing results already. I’ve had some psychiatrists in the past with no results, therefore, I can say his approach is very different, empathetic and passionate. I finish every session feeling calm and looking forward to follow through with his recommendations. I also love his psychotherapy style.
I had my first session with Dr. Gilberto, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He made me feel truly heard and understood, and the conversation flowed naturally, which put me at ease right away. This was my first time meeting with a mental health provider, and it exceeded my expectations. I’m genuinely looking forward to continuing this journey and seeing my progress with his guidance. Highly recommend!

Gilberto was amazing. I've had a few psychiatrists before, they take notes and ask vague questions; Gilberto is different. He spent time TALKING to me, getting to know me, asking follow up questions, and offering suggestions. He went far above the standard practice of collecting basic details and out the door. I feel like I may actually IMPROVE, instead of just managing as I have been.
