Getting to know Gina Marie Pitocchelli
Welcome! I am a seasoned psychiatric nurse practitioner with a great deal of medical background and life experience. Originally from Massachusetts, I now reside in Florida. I earned my Master's in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati.
I love, love, love what I do and the patients that I serve. I am a woman of faith and help patients through life's challenges with therapy, spiritual guidance, and medications, if needed. I believe that all patients need to be heard and understood and know they are cared for. That does not always mean giving patients what they want but what they need to have optimal functioning of their mental, physical, spiritual, and social health.
I have a profound sense of humor and believe it is important to be kind to ourselves as we traverse this journey of life. I do not judge, as none of us are free from a history, and I believe we do what we know at the time of each event. I believe humans can flourish if all the above functions are in balance. Perfect? No! Openness and honesty are my guide.
I practice in 10 states and have been a psychiatric provider since 2013. I have worked inpatient, with geriatric patients and their unique challenges, and with adolescents and their challenges.
I have worked in forensics, with law enforcement, outpatient homeless and severely mentally ill patients, and counseled peers on pharmacology.
My specialties are mood disorders, attention deficit, PTSD, depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, sleep management issues, and spiritual counseling.
I look forward to meeting with you and seeing if my experience and treatment can help make your life journey more manageable.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I would hope that patient feel cared for, listened to, understood and hopeful, when we finish our session together. I hope that they look forward to meeting again and have solid input and guidance on their mental health coping skills and enjoy our time together.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

I'm so happy I came across Dr. Pitocchelli. One session in, so I can't go based off of the prescription experience yet, but she was extremely receptive, perceptive, and understanding.
