I am a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a strong foundation in rural healthcare and a deep commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. With experience serving diverse populations in underserved areas, I understand unique challenges faced by individuals across the lifespan and am dedicated to improving the knowledge, coping skills, and quality of life for all those I work with. My clinical approach integrates lasting lifestyle changes, pharmacotherapy, and elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing, allowing for flexible, personalized care that meets clients where they are. Whether working with individuals managing anxiety, depression, trauma, or other mental health concerns, I am committed to walking alongside clients with empathy, respect, and a strong dedication to their growth and well-being.

What should a new client know about working with you?

New clients should be prepared for a thorough intake process and multiple visits to gather relevant history. They should expect to feel cared for and respected throughout their visit.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Cients should expect to fill out intake questionnaire forms that will gather basic data about the present concerns, past history, and family information. Clients will then undergo a comprehensive intake appointment. Once the intake has been completed, we will discuss options for treatment together and will formulate a plan that may include medication, therapy, lifestyle interventions, or a combination of these. Clients may need additional lab work before starting medications or while taking them. Follow-up visits will be conducted on a regular basis as indicated by clinical presentation and the unique needs of the individual.
