About Dr. Girish Mohan
Dr. Girish Mohan was born and raised in Naperville, IL, just outside of Chicago. After high school, he was accepted to the prestigious GPPA Medical Scholars program at the University of Illinois. During medical school, he completed a year of dedicated research in the Skin Immunology laboratory within the department of dermatology and graduated Alpha Omega Alpha with top honors. Dr. Mohan was then accepted to the Harvard Dermatology residency training program in Boston, where he trained at the multiple Harvard affiliated hospitals, including Mass General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess, Lahey Clinic, Boston Children’s Hospital and the Boston VA hospitals.
While training, he dedicated continuity clinics at the MGH Laser and Cosmetic center, which was the birthplace of modern lasers for dermatologic use. After completing his residency, Dr. Mohan was recruited as Director of the Laser and Cosmetic center at Hartford Hospital in Connecticut. He has published in multiple peer-reviewed journals and has presented at national and international conferences. He relocated with his wife to sunny LA and is looking forward to meeting and caring for his patients here. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, family and friends, traveling, and outdoor activities including hiking, biking and basketball (he’s a big Lakers fan!)
