Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. I scheduled an appointment. The provider even messaged me in the portal beforehand. Yet, he did not show up, even after 10 minutes.
Unfortunately the doctor made me feel uncomfortable and I was desperate for the meeting to be over. He was nice, but basically told me I was being completely medically mismanaged which goes against everything several psychiatrists have told me. Seemed more interested in seeing me as a general physician than a psychiatrist. Never has a psychiatrist wanted to do bloodwork right after meeting and see me and so thyroid testing. It was an odd experience. I really felt uncomfortable and wish I was brave enough to advocate for myself during our session.
