About Dr. Giselle Jimenez

Giselle Jimenez M.D. is a board-certified Family Medicine Physician with a special interest in pediatric, adolescent, women’s health, adult, and geriatric population disorders. She is currently working at Richmond Health Network as a primary care provider.
Dr. Jimenez completed an intensive three-year residency in Family Medicine in the Bronx, NY at BronxCare Health System. During this time, she participated in several quality improvement projects on inpatient and outpatient services, even posting and participating at national levels and AAFP conferences.
Dr. Jimenez graduated from Iberoamerican University in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She worked with underserved rural areas promoting primary attention with the Department of Health in there; also she worked at Punta Cana with Hospiten Group/Clinic Assist providing touristic medicine services within hotel accommodations; also working with Quality Control Departments and providing general primary care services to hotel employees.
With a great willingness to serve the community and as a Staten Island resident, Dr. Jimenez proudly provides services to the Staten Island population of all ages at both of her offices located at 1161 Victory Blvd and 4434 Amboy Rd. She is fluent in Spanish.
She is very happy and grateful to join the growing Richmond Health Network and Amboy Medical Practice team of outstanding specialists and primary care doctors.

Restroom had no toilet paper. Restroom had watered down soap. I was told my insurance was accepted and I now see my insurance denied the visit claim.

Dr. Jimenez and the staff at her office were very welcoming and kind. Anyone who made eye contact with me spoke, the office was clean and the wait time was not too long.
Dr. Jimenez come into my room and talked to me using terminology that I understood, she was honest and not judgmental. I felt like I was talking to a family member.
They did bloodwork in house so I didn’t have to worry about making another appointment to schedule that.
I had an evening appointment and I did not feel rushed by her or her staff bc I was probably the last patient. They treated me as if I were the 1st patient.
I will definitely be returning as well as setting an appointment for my husband soon.

I had to switch PCPs after my last doctor stopped taking my insurance, and it was honestly the best thing that could have happened. Dr. Jimenez is an excellent doctor - she listens to your concerns, trusts that you know your own body and what's happening to you, and is thorough in asking questions so you can get the care you need.
