About Dr. Giulio Quarta
Dr. Giulio Quarta joined our practice at NYU Langone Medical Center in New York, where he was a highly regarded fellow in the Department of Gastroenterology, known for his medical skills and proficiency in research. Board-certified by the American Gastroenterology Association, Dr. Quarta is fluent in Spanish and has a working knowledge of Italian, which enables him to personally connect with patients from a variety of backgrounds.
Dr. Quarta completed his research fellowship in gastroenterology at NYU Langone Medical Center, where he also performed his residency and internship. Prior to that, Dr. Quarta was a research scholar in computational biology at the Howard Hughes Medical Center in New York. He was a Sokol Scholar in Chemistry at New York University, where he graduated cum laude and later earned his medical degree.
In addition to his laboratory and research work in RNA folding, cell culture, and fluorescence microscopy, Dr. Quarta has been published in a variety of peer-reviewed publications, including Bioinformatics and Biology Insights, the Journal of Molecular Biology, and the American Journal of Gastroenterology.
