About Dr. Glenn Faust
Glenn Faust, M.D., has served for over 12 years as Chairman of the Department of Surgery at the Nassau University Medical Center. Prior to that, Dr. Faust was the Chief in the Division of Vascular Surgery in the Department of Surgery at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Dr. Faust graduated from the Yale University School of Medicine and completed his residency in general surgery at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New York. He completed his fellowship in vascular surgery, at Long Island Jewish Medical Center.
Certified by the American Board of Surgery with a Certificate of Special Qualifications in Vascular Surgery, Dr. Faust, an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, is active in the New York Cardiovascular Society and is a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons. He is the recipient of numerous awards.

This was by far one of the worst doctor visits I’ve ever experienced. I was supposed to have a 10am appointment with Dr. Faust but when I arrived was told Dr. Faust wasn’t in and it would be Dr. Yemen seeing me. When I arrived at 9:50am there was only one individual in front of me. I filled out the necessary paperwork and half an hour later was escorted to a room to wait for the doctor to go over my ultrasound results. I waited in that room for over an hour and a half. No exaggeration. While waiting in that room, I heard the doctor going to see different patients who arrived after me. I asked the receptionist several times how much longer I should expect to wait and why was the doctor seeing people who came after me first. She apologized profusely and said I would be next. Well, that wasn’t true. From inside the room, I could hear him going to another patient and then another. Another 20 minutes go by and I speak with the receptionist again who tells me she’s really sorry and that apparently she told the doctor I was next but he’s choosing to see other clients first. What? Absolutely horrendous doctor. To make matters worse, he finally comes into my room and says I have “bad veins” and to just wear compression stockings. When my daughter who’s a nurse called my cell phone to speak with him regarding the results, he told her that he already explained the results to me and he didn’t have time to re-explain himself.
So unless you want to spend 2.5 hours waiting in a doctors office to be seen by an unprofessional, condescending doctor, I strongly suggest going elsewhere.
Dr. Yemen is by far the worst health care “professional” I’ve ever encountered.
