LifeStance Health's goal is to provide excellent care to each patient in a timely manner. If it is necessary to cancel an appointment, patients are required to call or leave a message at least 48 hours before their appointment time. Notification allows the practice to better utilize appointments for other patients in need of prompt medical care. Cancellation/No Show fees may occur up to $150 per missed visit.
Dr. Keraga graduated Sum Cum Laude after a 3yr program at St. Francis College in Brooklyn, NY with a BS degree in Biology. She attended a 3 1/2 yr medical school program at NYMC and went on to do her internship and two years of residency at St. Vincent's Hospital in NYC in psychiatry. The last year of her residency was completed at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston in 1982. She has a broad experience of treating patients in a variety of settings and with a variety of diagnoses. While she trained in psychoanalytic psychotherapy at St. Vincent's Hospital, she was a clinical medical director of a woman's unit dealing with woman's issues, abuse, trauma, depression, etc at a Houston psychiatric hospital as well as clinical medical director of an adolescent unit. As an outpatient psychiatrist, she did family therapy and couples counseling. Dr. Keraga has treated patients from adolescence to the geriatric age group. Her experience includes medication management and psychotherapy. Some of the diagnoses she has treated include, Depression, Bipolar/Manic-Depression, Anxiety/Phobias, Grief/loss, Family issues, Gender issues, PTSD, Schizophrenia, Psychosis, Alcoholism, Relationship, and Adjustment issues

My experience has been amazing so far, I've had 2 appointments and have come out of both of them happy. I've had so many psychiatrists over the years and all my visits are usually someone not taking me seriously and typing into a computer, then, "I'll see you in 2-3 months." She was so thorough in asking me questions that I was surprised. I scheduled the appointment originally for one issue but will continue to see her for my other mental illnesses as well. She was an amazing listener and actually validated my experiences. I highly recommend her.

She was extremely kind and compassionate, she really listened and made sure to cover every corner in our appointment. I did not feel judged, and I was not rushed. She was attentive and caring through the entire appointment. At the end she chose a plan that was okay with me as a starting point. I feel she listened to issues and took everything I said into consideration! I'm happy to finally have a permanent psychiatrist!

There may have been some confusion with either the application, possibly one or two members of the office staff, regarding whether or not my visit was virtual or in person because I received several communications indicating it was a in person visit. Because I already contacted the office and they returned my messages almost immediately, I was pretty sure they knew it was in virtual visit. Initially there was some confusion regarding the application that is actually used to actually see the doctor. It’s not knock made the connection, Dr.
