Getting to know Glory Tataw
With 17 years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse clientele, including Maryland residents across all ages—from children above 6 years, teenagers, adolescents, adults, to seniors. My skills encompass working with multicultural clients, the LGBTQ community, and individuals at various life stages.
I hold an Associate’s degree from Prince George's Community College, a Bachelor's degree from Coppin State University, and a Master’s in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Walden University.
My mission is to empower individuals by helping clients and their families understand their mental health. I want you to know that despite your mental health challenges, improvement and living a quality life are possible. I will meet you where you are and support you in becoming who you want to be. Behavioral health is a continuous journey—take one step at a time—and I will be with you every step of the way.

What is your typical process for working with clients?
Aim in addressing mental health concerns in people from diverse cultural backgrounds, who have experienced stigma or societal barriers to receiving mental health treatment.
My goal is to establish rapport with you, form a partnership and collaborate on a treatment plan that meets your individual needs.
My treatment style is collaborative, using a non-judgmental approach, with achievable goals to help develop effective coping skills and reduce symptoms.

She's a great psychiatrist and was able to easily describe the medications that might help me and their benefits and side effects in a way that was very understandable. Just keep in mind that her appointments are sometimes rather short and she's doesn't really do talk therapy as much if that's what you're looking for.
