Grace Ferguson-Pell, CNM, WHNP, is a certified nurse midwife providing comprehensive reproductive health care with a special emphasis on prenatal care, ensuring that expectant individuals receive personalized, evidence-based support throughout their pregnancy journey. Her expertise also includes contraceptive counseling, family planning, trauma-informed care, and well-woman gynecology.
Grace's passion for midwifery began during her undergraduate years at Wheaton College, where she volunteered at a prenatal clinic in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing in 2014 and gained extensive experience as a labor and delivery nurse in Brooklyn before joining The Mount Sinai Hospital in 2017. Grace earned her Master of Science in Nurse-Midwifery from Yale School of Nursing in 2020.
After practicing as a midwife in the Bronx for two years, Grace moved to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem in 2023, where she became instrumental in developing a new midwifery service to expand access to high-quality midwifery care in the community. She is excited to be rejoining the Mount Sinai team as of February 2025.
Grace is committed to evidence-based and patient-centered practice and is dedicated to advancing equitable, culturally responsive care and advocating for improved reproductive health services.
She is a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
