At Bright Act Behavioral Center, we've proudly attended to our patients’ mental health needs and have worked tirelessly to brighten people’s lives by offering proactive, quality mental healthcare in a safe and comfortable environment. We offer services including medication management, counseling, substance abuse counseling, and other related mental health needs. We guarantee to provide quality mental health care. Our team is supported by strong educational backgrounds, including a Master’s in Nursing from Walden University and a Bachelor’s degree from Curry College, ensuring knowledgeable and compassionate care for every patient.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Our clinical professionals are here to help patients with their anxiety, depression, post traumatic stress disorder, major mental illnesses, substance abuse as well as other behavioral health issues for all ages. Our providers are able to diagnosed and prescribe medications for the treatment of mental illnesses, addictions and other mental distresses.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
We work to connect with our patient's by providing compassionate and empathetic care. Our out most goal is to Brighten peoples lives and to make people live more meaningful lives in the midst the mental health challenges

I was very happy with my appointment and my new provider. I will be seeing her again in one month. She was very helpful and promptly sent my refills out to my pharmacy. I got the appointment on the day I made it which is a major plus for me as my prescription had run out this morning and I've had no luck finding a new provider until I came on Zocdoc! Being physically disabled. Dr. Ngumi was both accomodating, but without the excessive delicacy I often receive (an act that can feel diminishing). For an introduction visit, we were able to discuss and cover more than I'd expected. She has a pleasant demeanor in both speaking and listening.

i had an issue filling my prescriptions 3 days after my wednesday appointment this month. One wasn’t sent. One was a prior authorization. I actually booked another appointment for the following Monday to try to figure all this out, with the doctor. i left 2 voicemails explaining?, and ?I ended up being contacted Sunday night and being told to cancel the appointment, and that she would call me on Monday. She hadn’t called so when I didn’t hear back by 2pm the next Monday, i called to inquire. I was cut off by reception: i was told to “not call again” after having been a 8-9 month long patient with the doctor. I was not prescribed my prescriptions. I still haven’t been called. At this point I w?as in panic. I went to my PcP and was prescribed All of my prescriptions with refills. It’s Tuesday I still haven’t been called or communicated with in anyway and nothing has been touched in the pharmacy by her. Please publish- Ben 8-9 month long patient with accepted insurance.
