Getting to know Grace Njie

My name is Grace Njie, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, a compassionate, board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and founder of Xyra Psychiatry. With more than 30 years of nursing experience, I bring a thoughtful, personalized approach to adult mental health care. I provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, attention concerns, and mood disorders. I have a particular interest in women’s mental health and young adults navigating school, careers, relationships, and life transitions. My goal is to help you feel heard and supported as we develop a treatment plan that reflects your needs, values, and goals. I offer virtual appointments for adults located in Texas.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first visit is a chance for me to get to know you beyond your symptoms. During our 60 minutes together, I’ll listen to what brought you here, what you’ve tried, and what you hope will change. You’ll have space to share at your own pace, ask questions, and feel involved in every decision. Together, we’ll create a personalized plan that considers your mental and physical health, daily life, and values. I’ll explain my recommendations clearly, including medication when appropriate, so you understand your options and next steps. During 30-minute follow-ups, we’ll talk about what’s improving, what remains difficult, and how treatment fits into your life. My goal is for you to leave each visit feeling heard, informed, and supported.
