Beginning with my first phone call for an appointment, all the way through my post-operative visits, the excellent service and patient care with Dr. Jeter and his staff has been beyond compare. Dr Jeter's skill combined with his personable bedside manner are a winning combination! I will always highly recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Jeter is an orthopedic surgeon whose practice is specialized to the treatment of sports injuries as well as problems of the knee, shoulder, elbow and ankle. Dr. Jeter graduated cum laude from the University of Oklahoma where he received his orthopedic surgery and sports medicine training under Donald H. O’Donoghue, M.D. the father of modern orthopedic sports surgery and the founder of the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine. While there, Dr. Jeter conducted original research on the reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament of the knee. This research, presented before the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, contributed significantly to the current recognition of the importance of anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction in athletes and active non-athletes. For this research, the American Orthopedic Society recognized him as Honor Resident.
Dr. Jeter has pursued his personal and professional passion for sports medicine both within his personal practice as well as through his association with multiple athletic teams and events including acting as: the Team Physician for the Hawaiians of the World Football League, a traveling orthopedist for the U.S. Ski Team, Medical Director of the Bruce Jenner Track and Field Classic, the Team Physician for the San Jose Jammers of the Continental Basketball Association, the Team Physician for San Jose City College.
His patients have included Super Bowl winners with multiple rings, Olympic Gold Medalists, World Cup Ski Champions, World Champion Rodeo Cowboys, Big Wave Riders at Maverick, National Rugby Team members, and professional tennis players.
Dr. Jeter enjoys traveling with his energetic wife, annually spending a week in the remote reaches of Glacier Bay Alaska on kayak camping expeditions. Each year they also visit the Silver Bank, a coral reef off the north shore of the Dominican Republic, to snorkel and free dive with the Atlantic Humpback Whales as they give birth and mate. In March 2008, Dr. Jeter was included on NBC’s Today Show feature about this unique experience. Avid scubas divers, they have visited the reefs of the South Pacific, at times diving in previously unvisited places. Dr. Jeter and his wife are also enthusiastic and experienced snow skiers.

Dr Jeter was thorough, kind, patient, took his time in evaluating my specific orthopedic issues. He was very clear in discussing my treatment options. In addition to his own wealth of experience & knowledge, he utilized other resources to confirm my diagnosis. It's hard to imagine a better orthopedist than Dr Jeter!
