“I believe strongly that discovering or expanding our physical, spiritual, and emotional connection to the natural world is core to our personal journey to happiness.” Dr. Meredith grew up surrounded by the Ozark mountains in Fayetteville, Arkansas where he earned his B.S. in Biochemistry at the University of Arkansas. He received his Medical Degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, AR. He then attended Psychiatry residency in Corvallis, Oregon at Good Samaritan Hospital. Following residency, he worked as a Staff Inpatient Psychiatrist for Ventura and Humboldt County, CA before returning to the office setting. He continues to stay on the pulse of ongoing research and evidence based treatments, and tailors each treatment plan for the individual. The psychiatric care Dr. Meredith provides is influenced by a lifetime spent in the great outdoors. “I believe strongly that discovering or expanding our physical, spiritual, and emotional connection to the natural world is core to our personal journey to happiness.” Dr. Meredith is an avid surfer, biker, and wilderness explorer.
