I have played soccer for my entire life and with that comes the mentality of pushing through pain. After my college career, I started to develop stiffness and general pain in my lower back. I ignore it and continue to play soccer recreationally and weightlift, however I started to experience bad pains and muscle spams throughout my lower back. I knew something was off and wanted to start to heal. After being with AFW and getting treatments for less than month, my muscle spams and pain have significantly decreased.
The overall care and experience I have gotten with the doctors at AFW is beyond exceptional. The whole staff cares for you and your well-being. I could not be more grateful for them all.

My visits at Active Family Wellness had been fantastic and nothing but pleasant. It's not a "typical medical office" that everything is slow and people aren't friendly or efficient. The team is welcoming, personable, and eager to help your health journey with chiropractic and beyond. It was my back pain that made me seek chiropractic care, but I saw many health benefits such as better quality of sleep and more energy. A total game changer. Now my whole family (wife, 3yo, and 6mo baby) get adjusted for wellness maintenance and prevention. Dr. Lee, Dr. Janine, Dr. Tyler are all knowledgeable and listen to you seriously as well as other office members. They all literally know every single patient's name. The office runs like a well-oiled machine. Very well trained and efficient. I didn't expect myself and family ever look forward to visiting a medical office like this, but it's just so fun to visit the AFW office! It's been the best health investment I've ever made. Period.

I have recently begun care here for chronic migraines and already see measurable improvements in my daily pain and activities. Whether it is the warm and welcoming front desk team, or the immensely compassionate group of providers, I walk away from any experience with this practice feeling empowered, informed, supported, and educated about my wellness. The easy and efficient check-in kiosks, scheduling app, comprehensive website, and convenient appointment times make prioritizing health and healing all the more possible when balancing the other variables life throws our way. AFW is the epitome of family friendly and offers a wide variety of services to match. They even offer workshops covering everything from new patient basics to specific topics (like headache prevention!) to help EVERYONE maintain the progress made through adjustments. Care plans are individualized and small wins are joyfully celebrated every visit. My adjustments are quickly becoming some of the BEST parts of my week as I work through one of my toughest health chapters to-date.

I had a terrible sciatica pain going down my leg that prevented me from sitting for a long period of time or exercising. A friend of mine told me her sciatica pain went away with chiropractic care and recommended Active Family Wellness, a chiropractic clinic near me in Fairfax, VA. I did not know what to expect as it was my first time trying chiropractic, but I am glad I went because the sciatica pain started reducing after a few weeks into the treatment. In addition, my sleep quality improved. Sleeping better and not having the terrible pain really changed my life quality. Dr. Lee, Dr. Tyler, Dr. Janine and their team are very supportive and genuine. Visiting the office has become my positive self-care time. Thanks AFW!

When my friend first referred me to Active Family Wellness, I was pretty skeptical about seeing a chiropractor since, at the time, I didn’t think it would actually have a meaningful impact on my healthy or life. Well, I am so happy I was wrong! Dr. Lee and all of the incredible chiropractors and staff at Active Family Wellness are incomparable in terms of patient care, quality and sincerity. As I mentioned, I was a non-believer and thought chiropractic practices were nothing more than a marketing tool, but ACTIVE FAMILY WELLNESS CERTAINLY TURNED ME INTO A BELIEVER!
I went in thinking I only had one singular ailment, but then after comprehensive testing, I realized that there was actually a lot going on inside my own body that I didn’t even know about! Even though it’s only been about two months now, I already see and feel the results! What sets them apart is that they want you to be as involved and as educated about your treatment as possible. Most people don’t realize that the spine and the connected nerves are essentially the source of everything in your body, so a lot of health problems are actually symptoms of spinal subluxations!
What is a spinal subluxation you ask? Go check out Active Family Wellness, and not only will they explain it to you, they will go out of there way to make sure you have a customized treatment plan with the best patient care I have ever experienced. This practice is awesome. I love it so much that I wish I could go there for therapy everyday just to see all the people in the office! I’ve gained so much knowledge about a lifestyle of wellness from the doctors and staff. On top of that chiropractic care has been great for my back pain and overall health. I’m SLEEPING better, I’m moving better—dancing hasn’t been this enjoyable in years. To sum it up, my quality of life has definitely changed for the better. The decision to start getting treated at Active Family Wellness was a huge act of self-care. I’m incredibly grateful that I found them! ??

Active Family Wellness, Dr. Lee and his awesome staff provide fantastic chiropractic care! They explain things thoroughly to the patient and offer plans towards long term wellness. I have been going to Dr. Lee for over a decade for various ailments (sports injuries, back pain, neck pain, indigestion). Not only do I experience pain relief, the consistent adjustments has led to better overall health, energy, mood, ability to handle stress among many things. I highly recommend this office and Dr. Lee.

I went to Active Family Wellness after getting into an accident and sustained a traumatic leg injury that left me on crutches for 5 months. Due to weight compensation and bad posture I had to ensure, I had terrible lower back pain and joint pain. It was so painful I was having a hard time walking and standing. I knew my body structure was way off and had to do something. There was nothing ortho Dr could do and PT didn't help so I decided to try chiropractor for the first time. And I am GLAD I chose Dr Lee! He is approachable and knowledgeable. I had so many questions, and he was always happy to answer and think what's best for my recovery and health in the long run. The whole team at Active Family Wellness is sincere and caring. I like that they are full of positive energy. I'm grateful they helped me get through the roughest time of my life after the accident. I noticed many health benefits after I started chiropractic care. I sleep better and have more energy. When I'm away for vacation and skip adjustments, I notice the big difference. Mt first and last visit was ok. I don't know why I had to do office tour for my visiting when I was there expecting treatment but staffs were nice and friendly. No medical treatment was done on first visiting. They just "counselled" what my goal, stress reason and stuffs like that which I don't understand why I was asked for these at the chiropractic clinic. My workers compensation department asked me to go other place where they cover, so I asked them to send me the invoice and some "test result" which nobody explained on my first visiting. They never sent me that. I called and asked three times but still havent got it, so I am about to call 4th time for simple invoice request that they supposed to give at my first visiting.

I spent most of my time with machines. When I did see the doctor it felt as though he was talking at me, not with me, the entire 5 minutes I saw him. This didn't change if only another person was there at 9:30 or if everyone and their grandma were there at 5:30 pm. His receptions also played club music the entire time, which isn't very relaxing.

Dr. Lee was very thorough with the diagnostics and answered all my questions. I am still in the early phases of my treatment, but I love my visits with him so far. I very much appreciate Dr. Lee's bedside manner and friendly personality.

5 years ago when I was pregnant with my twins, ended up in the hospital and on strict bed rest for 3 months. After they were born, I started to have excruciating lower back pain. I went to my primary care physician, bone doctors, physical therapy etc. All they did was throw pain meds at me and for over a year, nothing helped. My husband
recommended Dr. Lee. I had never been to a Chiropractor before and honestly I was terrified but I was desperate. When I arrived, Dr. Lee was extremely warm, welcoming and calmed my nerves right away. He worked his magic and 45 minutes later my pain was gone. After several sessions and now 4 years later, my pain has never returned. The
man is a miracle worker, a healer, and educator and a blessing to his craft. I have referred several people to him and
all of them sing his praises.
Just to highlight, during the sessions, he does quite a bit of information gathering and thoroughly explains what he is
doing as he does it and why he is doing it.
Besides being an excellent Chiropractor, my husband and I owe him a dept Of gratitude. When my husband was
there for a session once, Dr. Lee recognized that my husband was showing symptoms of what seemed to be a stroke
and sure enough he was having a TIA -mini stroke and immediately contacted me and got him medical assistance.
To us, this went above and beyond and could have possibly saved his life.
So, to bottom line it - if you need a an excellent Chiropractor, Dr. Lee 's YOUR man!

Dr. Lee and his staff are friendly and highly skilled. Dr. Lee has been able to address a number of chronic problems with my neck and lower back, which flare up frequently because of an extensive travel schedule. I have also referred family members and friends to his practice and they all have had similarly similar results.

Dr. Lee helped my back pain instantly in one appointment. The office graciously accepted to schedule me into their busy time frame on the same day with no hassle. The office gives off a warm welcoming vibe that makes you feel like home.Dr. Lee is very down to earth which makes him so easily to approach and open up to. He informed me on the areas of my back and neck that he felt needed attention and care. I received an adjustment shortly afterwards and throughout the whole process. Dr. Lee was going step-by-step on what he was doing. He then advised to drink a lot of water to flush out toxins that he released from the adjustment. I am so appreciative of his help. The next day, I woke up a new person. I felt no pain and strain while working at my fast paced job. I can't forget the front desk experience that i received. Kristan was so helpful in scheduling and dealing with my insurance payments. Amy helped me feel comfortable and at ease as she was the one that to prepare my back to get an adjustment. Overall, I can tell that Dr. Lee is a great doctor, employer, and individual as I can see his great works in his office and demeanor. I advise anyone and everyone that has back/neck problems to stop by for consultations!

Amazing! I am a physical Therapist and going to see a chiropractor is kind of scary...I was blown away. I had a major car accident in November and knew my neck had a facet joint issue. I knew i needed manipulations to feel better. Dr. Lee delivered! Awesome staff that always makes you feel welcome and an amazing doctor who is skilled and knowledgeable!!
