About Dr. Gulshan Sethi
Dr. G. Sethi is a Board Certified, Fellowship Trained Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon with over 15 years of experience. He earned his medical degree, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, from the New York Institute of Technology, New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at Government Medical College, Patiala. Throughout different stages of his professional career, he has received training at premier institutions such as Harvard Medical School and the Mayo Clinic. He completed his General Surgery Residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center of New York Medical College, New York Presbyterian Hospital of Weill Cornell Medical College, and Memorial Sloan Kettering Center in New York City.
After residency, Dr. Sethi pursued advanced training with a fellowship in Vascular Surgery at the University at Buffalo, Catholic Health System. He has extensive experience performing life- and limb-saving procedures, including Carotid Surgery, Aortic Surgery, and Limb-Saving Surgery. He is adept at performing these complex operations through minimally invasive endovascular approaches. He is currently affiliated with several premier hospitals on Long Island.
As a vein and vascular specialist, Dr. Sethi successfully developed a Vascular and Endovascular Program for one of the nation's well-known vein brands. He has performed thousands of vein treatments with outstanding results, achieving the highest levels of patient outcomes and satisfaction.
He has been honored with several awards, including “Excellence in Clinical Education,” and has been inducted into the Honor Society of the Iota Chapter of the Psi Sigma Alpha Society for outstanding academic achievement.
