About Guobin (Grace) Wang
Guobin (Grace) Wang joins our practice with over eight years of dermatology experience. She completed her undergraduate education at York College, City University of New York, earning certificates for Academic Excellence. Before this, she studied in China at Anhui College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Acupuncture and earned a Ph.D. at Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. After years of working as a licensed acupuncturist, she has trained under and worked closely with well-respected Manhattan and international dermatologists.
Grace practices all aspects of general dermatology, including skin cancer screenings, skin rashes, acne, psoriasis, warts, hair loss, and other therapeutic procedures.
Grace is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Grace is also a member of the American Academy of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She is fluent in both English and Chinese. She makes it a personal goal to deliver ethnically sensitive and competent care to patients from different backgrounds.
When she’s not delivering exceptional care to her patients, Grace likes spending time with her family, traveling, and reading. She works out regularly and also enjoys learning about different cultures and nature.

The office contacted me the day before to tell me the provider I selected was no longer available and the next available was two weeks away, but I have been very self-conscious about the mark on my face and agreed to see a different provider in the office. The provider I did see, I did not feel like she listened to me at all. I have many freckles/moles, all over my body (Irish) and when I told her I am here for a full body check she said show me which ones you have concerns about. I said I'm not sure I can't see all of them and I'm not sure entirely what to worry about. I had to literally point to some, she did not give a thorough assessment at all. Then when I pointed to the mark I am worried about on my face, she ended up zapping something completely separate and I walked out of the office with a new mark to be self-conscious about and felt not listened to at all about the one I was concerned about.

Awesome experience! Grace was such incredible and sweet person. She knew all of my concerns and was very understanding, helped me right away with anything I had. She clarified all of my concerns and problems. I had no pain with the procedures she performed and can’t wait to refer her to all my friends. Her explanation to everything was very clear and well spoken where I knew exactly what to do after the procedure. Such a incredible personality, great meeting her.

Grace’s knowledge and bed side manners made me fee comfortable and relieved right away. After she thoroughly listened to all my complaints, she had a diagnosis and a treatment plan for my condition. I got my medications the same day and within 48 hours, experienced immediate relief. Grace has significantly helped in improving my quality of life and I am grateful for the entire Advanced Dermatology team!

She is amazing. I don't even review doctors on zoc doc but I felt like I owed it to her. She's so nice. She really took the time to hear me out and work with me to help resolve some horrible acne. Would recommend her to anyone in need of a derm. Cheers to you!

I appreciated the consultation and the medications prescribed, however I felt like it was a very impersonal visit. The acne I have is caused by a lot of internal issues and I felt like the PA was quick to just prescribe topicals and not talk more about the internal issues that were causing them. in addition, she dismissed a concern I had about hormonal issues being the cause of my dandruff, which was off putting. Overall it just wasn't the right fit for me.
