Getting to know Hai Trinh

A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellation of appointments, or a cancellation fee will be charged. I have always been fascinated with mental health, particularly its intangible features, given that it mainly focuses on inferences to make a diagnosis, medication management treatment, and patient assessment. However, I understand that simply focusing on my fascination would reduce my value. With this awareness, I planned to gain education and experience in clinical nursing and business management before pursuing advanced education in psychiatric mental health nursing. My professional career began with business management qualifications acquired through a two-year education program. I then completed a four-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at the University of Texas – Houston School of Nursing, graduating in 2005. I also earned a Master of Science in Family Nursing from Texas Woman’s University. Later, I completed a two-year Master of Science in Nursing Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program at Walden University – Minnesota, graduating on May 12, 2019. I am now a Board-Certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My professional experience began as a stroke team nurse with the neurology and intensive medical care unit at Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital from May 2005 to November 2006. I then worked at Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital in various nursing roles for over 16 years. Additionally, I have two years of experience as a PMHNP-BC with The Woodlands-Houston Neuro-Psychiatric Clinic, Lone Star Behavioral Health, Flourish Mental Health, and Tranquility Behavioral Health LLC & TMS Center in Kingwood, TX, providing psychiatric medication management for adolescents and adults. My goal is to provide safe, quality psychiatric care to help my patients achieve optimal psychological and physical well-being.

Facility is neat and staff was okay. They were busy on the phone for 15 minutes when I got there and I was alone in the lobby. Doctor Trinh was nice and caring but not able to help me with my ADHD or anxiety. He does not believe in using controlled substances. If you need them, go somewhere else. Can't believe they don't believe in past medical records in terms of prescribing medications that I already know work.

Seems knowledgeable enough, but doesn’t fully listen to exactly what your issue is. Will try to diagnose you with different but also serious things based on a yes or no questionnaire. Which to me doesn’t seem very thorough for diagnosis.
