About Dr. Hajat Avdovic

Dr. Hajat Avdovic was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and immigrated to New York City as a child. He grew up in Astoria, Queens and went to the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at City College of NY. He received his medical degree from Albany Medical College and completed his residency in family medicine at Northwell Health Phelps Memorial Hospital where he served as a chief resident. Dr. Avdovic speaks multiple languages and has many interests like photography, traveling and sports. He strives to always provide comprehensive care to his patients with empathy and understanding. Dr. Avdovic is Board Certified in Family Medicine.

Had an in office visit. Got the appointment the same day I called. Dr. Avdovic was prompt, professional and informative. Answered all my questions.
Love Dr Avdovic and his nurse,Migulia. Always give you great care and not watching the clock. Dr.A takes time out to speak with you and his Nurse is great at drawing blood. Although I moved from Croton, I still travel up there cause I love that practice, and did not wait even two mins for care.
Dr. Avdovic is the best doctor I have ever had. He's warm & friendly, open to discussion, and very knowledgeable! Please don't ever let him leave!!
