“Overall, my experience at Dermatology Specialists was better than expected. I wanted an immediate appointment which I booked on line. I saw PA Haley who was professional and courteous. She examined my skin condition and prescribed a medication that I had not yet tried. No time was wasted. If you are comfortable seeing a PA or NP and you an want immediate appointment then go on line and book. There are several office locations and availability of appointments. This was my second office visit and I highly recommend this practice.”

“This was one of the best medical offices I’ve been to in a long time and the visit wasn’t even for me. I had to take my son and the entire visit was welcoming and comforting to say the least. Front desk staff was wonderful and so helpful. The doctor’s assistant was so kind and knowledgeable, and can tell very good at his job. The doctor then came in, was so sweet and insightful, listened and answered all of our questions, then went straight into action. Everyone was very helpful and this assured us that we were getting the right help we needed. No long wait time very clean office and every member of staff from the front desk to the doctor were truly amazing. I would give 10 stars if I could and will recommend in a heartbeat. ”

About Haley Buggy
Haley Buggy is a board-certified dermatology Physician Assistant (PA-C) at The Dermatology Specialists. She graduated from Cornell University’s prestigious PA program located here in New York City, where she completed rigorous clinical rotations at hospitals and clinics throughout the city’s many boroughs and neighborhoods. During her medical education, she also completed specialized training in dermatology and plastic surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine / NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Wake Forest University. She is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants, and New York State Society of Physician Assistants.
Haley is thrilled to join TDS as a PA-C, building on her prior experience in dermatology since 2020. Her areas of interest include medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology and she values life-long learning to always provide her patients with the most up-to-date advancements and innovations to address their specific dermatologic needs. She is known for her warm outgoing personality and compassion, ensuring that all patients she treats feel comfortable, heard, and cared for at all times.
When not working with patients, Haley enjoys traveling and exploring new countries, cities, or neighborhoods here in NYC. She loves experimenting with new restaurants and recipes. She is also happy to spend her time catching up with her friends or current favorite reality shows.

I was really looking forward to my first appointment with Dr. Buggy, after researching dermatologists in my neighborhood — but upon my arrival, I was informed by the receptionist that Dr. Buggy left early today and no one bothered to call me to let me know, ultimately wasting my time.
I am now making an appointment elsewhere, because I won’t trust a disorganized medical office with my skin.

My wait was not long and the staff was very friendly. Dr Haley Buggy was excellent. She right away knew what I had on my finger which happened to be a trauma bruised to the finger instead of me thinking it was something else.
I felt very good and confident with the attention given to me by Dr. Buggy. She is great . I recommend her 100%.

I was treated at the Dermatology Specialists by Haley Buggy. She showed a level of attentiveness and concern I have not experienced before, and have been struggling with HS most of my life. She advocated with my insurance with hopes to have my treatment i need approved. She also suspected I had Lyme disease and this was confirmed with the blood test she ordered for me. She caught this severe condition while other providers have overlooked or minimized when I have attempted to have my bite evaluated.
