Getting to know Hallie Rubin

My name is Hallie Rubin, and I am a physician assistant specializing in psychiatry. I am board certified to practice medicine with an additional certification in psychiatry. I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Georgia and completed my Master’s in Medical Science at Mercer University PA school. I see patients ages five and older, helping people navigate difficult times at various stages in their lives. I diagnose and treat anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, attention deficit disorder, autism spectrum disorder, eating disorders, bipolar disorder, childhood mood disorders, schizophrenia, and more. I am a great listener and communicator, and I am extremely organized. I grew up in Atlanta and have always loved mentoring and giving back to my community. In my spare time, I enjoy cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs, traveling, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with my family and dogs.

What should a new client know about working with you?

In an effort to get to know my patients while demonstrating a elevated standard of care, I require all first time consultations to meet at the office in person. I believe in a hands-on approach in behavioral health care. Meeting you, in person, helps you get to know me better and it personalizes your experience.
