About Dr. Hamza Bhatti

His areas of special interest are skin cancer, Mohs Micrographic surgery, facial reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, laser surgery, procedural dermatology and cosmetic dermatology.
Dr. Bhatti is a native New Yorker who was born and raised in Long Island. He received his Bachelor of Science with honors at Stony Brook University and his medical degree at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York City, where he graduated among the top of his medical school class and being nominated into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed his internship along with a family medicine residency at Nassau University Medical Center in Long Island. Prior to his residency in dermatology, Dr. Bhatti joined the department of dermatology at Rutgers University to complete a Reflectance Confocal Microscopy Fellowship. He subsequently completed his dermatology residency at Rutgers University, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey where he served as the sole chief resident in his last year. Dr. Bhatti’s dedication to his patients and profession prompted him to complete a dually accredited fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology through the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education and also the American College of Mohs Surgery at The Skin Institute of South Florida and in Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgery through the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery at Hollywood Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery Specialists in South Florida. There, he received extensive training and expertise in advanced skin cancer surgery and reconstruction as well as cosmetic procedures including injectables, body contouring, and laser surgery under the instruction of Dr. Eli Saleeby and Dr. Eduardo Weiss.

Bedside manner great!
He patiently listened to all of my queries & concerns, while implementing active listening.
Me being nervous & overwhelmed about my health, spit them all out in rapid fire, yet the doctor not only kept track of them all, responded to each one of them individually.
He was very knowledgeable & provided great & truthful responses.
I don't often have luck in finding great doctors, but I feel I chose correctly this time, because it was a pleasure meeting him.
I would definitely recommend!
Since I am in the process of other evaluations, certain concerns had to be placed on hold, but once that's complete, I look forward to my follow up, as I know he will provide more of his grand service, that will allow me to attain results I've been seeking for years w/ many other medical professionals.

Dr. B was absolutely wonderful. He made me feel at ease the second he walked through the door. It is rare to find an MD that is informative,relaxed, and kind and he is was all three and more. His staff was professional and kind and i could tel that Dr. Bhatti also treated them really well which is so important to me. Really glad to find a dermatologist i trust and value in NYC. Dermatological screening revealed I had a questionable which he was able to biopsy on the spot , asking for expedited handling due to my upcoming travel. Highly recommend .

I returned to Dr Bhatti because he identified with my skin color. He explained using those lens. He is a knowledgeable, professional, courteous man/doctor with a sense of humor.
