About Hannah Cohan
After graduating from Decker School of Nursing at Binghamton University, Hannah interned at Sourasky Medical Center in Tel Aviv in the Emergency Department. Upon returning to NY, she worked at New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center for over five years, where she gained significant experience at the patient bedside, caring for a diverse patient population with various medical needs. While working, I attended Long Island University-Brooklyn and earned my Masters in nursing and am now a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
I believe individualized patient care is necessary for positive outcomes. It is also important that each of my patients feel comfortable and confident in my care. In my free time, I enjoy cooking and venturing out for long walks in Central Park. I also enjoy traveling and exploring new restaurants!

Went for pelvic pain. This is not an OB/GYN office as listed on zocdoc. Provider googled “menstrual disc” and wanted to send me for imagining in case my menstrual disc was still inside. I had to explain this was not possible.

This may be the best office with a great staff that I have ever been in don’t like doctors at all but they make it so pleasant and are so professional makes it enjoyable to take care your health would hands down recommend them to everyone.

I came in needing to be evaluated for a wrist injury and Hannah told me she couldn't do x-rays on site, she'd have to send me elsewhere for them and it could take up to a WEEK for results, and that I would be better off with a sports medicine referral. She did not even examine my hand and I had to ask for recommendations of in the meantime, what should I do. Do I need to buy a splint? How long should I wear it? I then go to CityMD and get x-rays, an actual examination of my hand (which Hannah had no interest in doing), and sent me home with a splint. I will not be returning.

I saw Hannah. I was looking for a New pcp and they addressed so many concerns at the first appointment. My other doctor you needed separate apts for each tiny concern. They recommended a gyno for deeper testing that they couldn’t do at the physical, but they even did a vein ultrasound regarding the concern of my leg pain and I’ve never had that done. 100% recommendation so far.

Hannah was an amazing provider! She listened closely, asked appropriate follow up questions, and communicated next steps (as well as reasonings behind each thought). My concerns were taken seriously and the office was able to complete many tests immediately in office. She also provided referrals to other specialists. Will continue to use her as my provider!!

Not sure why this practice has so many good reviews on Zocdoc. The doctor was fine but rushed thru the appt. They also make you schedule a follow up to review your bloodwork? That is waste of most patients’ time and seems like an excuse to charge your insurance one more time, especially when they already send you your lab results electronically and have every ability to provide a recap via the portal, i.e. “all levels are normal.” The first time I tried to cancel my follow up appt, they didn’t actually cancel it. I got another appt reminder email after that. So I just called AGAIN to cancel. They charge a $150 no show fee, so be careful. Just all around not the best. FYI they have some TERRIBLE reviews on Yelp and Google regarding shady billing practices.

Dr. Hannah is awesome. I have a bit of health anxiety and go in for just about anything and she is always extremely thorough (even when it is just anxiety). Once she even had me in the eye doctor upstairs within 30 minutes.
I've never waited in the waiting room past my appointment time and am always seen swiftly. The entire staff is great and it's always a pleasurable experience, especially for a doctor's office.
