She is attentive and helpful
This practitioner is awful. I am looking for a practitioner to manage my medication since mine retired. I have been on my current treatment plan for the last 8 years and it is working for me. As part of the patient acceptance process I completed a questionnaire in which i provided information on my diagnosis and treatment plan, and included that I am pregnant. She was 15 minutes late to my 30 minute appointment, asked me all of the questions that I answered as part of client acceptance, and then told me that she could not diagnose me (I already have a diagnosis and working treatment plan) and that she would not refill my medication because she cannot be “liable” for any risks associated with pregnancy. Apparently being forced to quit a medication that you’ve been taking for 8 years cold turkey with no medical supervision is a better alternative. Maybe if she had read the patient notes beforehand she wouldn’t have wasted my time. Luckily my OB filled the prescription with no concerns.
