About Dr. Hans Jeppesen
I'm an internal medicine physician and am active in both primary care and hospital medicine. I founded Charter Health PC in 2017, an internal medicine practice member of Mass General Brigham Community Physicians. Our main office is at MGB Salem Hospital with convenient access to outpatient laboratory and radiology services.
My background includes several years of primary care and hospital medicine experience, the latter including physician leadership as chief of hospital medicine at two academic medical centers in Boston.
I enjoy the wide breadth of primary care practice and developing long-term relationships with patients and their loved ones. Improving health and well-being along with health risk reduction is central to how I practice medicine.
I completed medical school and internal medicine residency at the University of Minnesota.

Best checkup I've had with a PCP ever! Dr. Jeppesen was tentative, patient, and knowledgeable. It's rare when you find a doctor that actually listens to what you're seeing and then really show concern with trying to get to the root of your concerns. Dr. Jeppesen is that doctor that does the things mentioned extremely well. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Hans Jeppesen was very nice and personable. He spent a good 40 minutes with me for questions and the examination then he ordered a number of tests. Overall, it was a good experience and I would recommend.

I recently moved to the area and I needed a new GP. I looked around online and I found Dr. Jeppesen, and I'm glad I did.
Dr. Jeppesen was friendly, communicative, and gave me enough time to feel like I mattered. To establish a baseline, he ordered what seemed like the right tests and the results were available in less than 24 hours.
Overall, a very positive experience. I feel like I'm in good hands.
