He traveled to Brooklyn, New York where he served as a Hematology and Oncology Resident at Brookdale Medical Center, before becoming a Hematology and Oncology Fellow at Maimonides Medical Center in 2002. From 2004 through 2006, Dr. Zhang was Co-Chairman of the Department of Hematology-Oncology at the Buenaventura Medical Group in Ventura, CA. Beginning in 2006, Dr. Zhang began his practice before joining The Oncology Institute of Hope and Innovation.
