What should a new client know about working with you?

When you work with me, you can expect a respectful, collaborative, and patient-centered experience. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where you feel heard, understood, and actively involved in your care. I believe in clear communication, so I will take the time to explain information, answer your questions, and ensure you feel confident in the decisions we make together. Your concerns, preferences, and goals are important, and they will guide our approach. Consistency, professionalism, and compassion are at the core of my practice. I am committed to maintaining your privacy, respecting your time, and providing care that is both evidence-based and tailored to your individual needs. Working together is a partnership. I encourage openness and honesty, as this helps me better support you in achieving the best possible outcomes.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based care. We begin with a comprehensive initial evaluation, where I take the time to understand your current concerns, mental health history, lifestyle, and goals for treatment. This assessment helps me form a clear, holistic picture of your needs. Based on this, we work together to develop an individualized treatment plan. This may include medication management, supportive therapy, and practical strategies to help you navigate daily challenges. I will always explain my recommendations, including the benefits and potential risks of any treatment, so you feel informed and empowered in your care. In follow-up visits, we focus on monitoring your progress, managing symptoms, and making adjustments as needed. Mental health care is not one-size-fits-all, so I regularly check in to ensure your treatment plan continues to align with your goals and how you’re feeling. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can speak openly. My role is to support, guide, and partner with you in improving your mental health and overall well-being.
