Dr P was great. Addressed all my concerns. Provided me great guidance and ensured I left feeling better. Everything was smooth during check in process and being s en promptly. He will be my go to Dr.
They are always professional.
Most disorganized doctor's office I've ever been to. It took me more than an hour to see the nurse on my first visit. We were interrupted literally EIGHT times (I counted) either by other nurses who needed something from my nurse or the room, or because my nurse needed to get something from somewhere else. After the nurse I waited another full hour to see the doctor. Finally got my checkup and blood test. After coming back a week later to get my results, they discover that they never sent my bloodwork out, and it had to be taken again. Also the expected copay was inaccurate. Everyone I interacted with was nice, but it was still the most disorganized place of business I've ever been in. It was downright impressive.
Both Dr. Hari Polavarapu and his staff were awesome.
Sweet people, wonderful service. I told them I was in a rush and they accommodated me. Kind’ve off the beaten path but I had a great experience with the staff.
Really friendly staff! Doc was patient and thorough and provided very helpful referrals.
I only met Dr. Hari once briefly at the end of my follow up appointment where I checked out a lump I had on my thigh. He was nice! But more than anything I was so impressed and grateful for how nice the nurse practitioners were as well as the receptionists. They put in all my data and reviewed my general health and I felt taken care of! Glad to have found this place.
All the staff and my doctor made me feel so comfortable and really listened. Would 100% recommend!
Dr. Polavarapu was great. The clinic was not great. In the future I will see him at his other location.
This was my first visit to Dr. "P"'s office. He made made me feel comfortable to discuss my issues on my visit . Recently, I had a need for a specific check-up and I decided to make an appointment with him. I'm so glad I did because it convinced me to make him my primary care doctor. Dr. p has really great bedside manner and is very informative. Other doctors sometimes give me the impression that they are too busy to help you, Not dr P, he takes the time to explain everything carefully and will answer all your questions. He is knowledgeable, caring and I highly recommend him.
The doctor was thorough, staff was helpful and the wait time was minimal. I would recommend to others.
This is a practitioner with a dirty office and incompetent staff.
My visit with Dr. Hari Polavarapu want great. He know what he was doing and did it in a timely way.
The doctor was great, did not feel rushed. The visit was thorough and felt that my issues were addressed. I waited but not too long. The staff helped me understand my insurance benefits a little better. Overall my experience was good.
The wait time was short and the staff was super nice. The office was nice and quiet. I liked Dr Polavarapu. He was professional and has good bedside manner. I will definitely be coming back the next time that I need a doctor.
I am very pleased with Dr. P, he listens to my concerns and addresses them. I never feel rushed. It's hard these days to find a doctor that actually cares, glad that I found one. The staff made all my specialist appointments for me, saved me time and frustration.
They front office was supposed to send me my medical results and instead they stopped answering the phone. Don't come here if you're looking for bedside manner.
I dont mean to be foul... but dealing with Dr. P. is terrible! I would rather shove bamboo under my fingernails than deal with this office again! His staff is completely rude and have no idea what they are doing. I was having blood drawn and the nurse pricked me 5 times... I can see the vein in my arm... use that one! The wait time was well over two hours. Speaking with Dr. P. is like talking to a computer screen, because all he does is stare at his computer and doesn't engage with his patients. The worst part is trying to hunt this God awful doctor down for a follow up. I have called his multiple offices over 45 times, spoken to his nasty staff, been hung up on, told that I need to come into the office...didn't have to, and treated like a bad person because I'm sick. Guess what, its been over a week and I still haven't heard from Dr.P. How you EVER became a doctor is beyond me. Get your staff together, get your bedside manner together, get your follow up together, and get out!!
Dealing with this office was incredibly frustrating. After showing up, they did not have change to allow me to pay a relatively small co-pay in cash. They then set up a followup appointment with me. However, when I showed up for the appointment, the door was locked, and the phone was busy. I couldn't wait more then 15 minutes. Finally, when I called to cancel a second followup appointment that had been scheduled out of frustration with the first cancellation, they told me that the office I had scheduled the appointment in that day was closed anyways (were they going to call me?) and then hung up abruptly. I would not recommend this office to anyone.
The wait time at this office is long.....The doctors are good though. They show genuine concern for things that are troubling you. They don't just rush you out the door!
I felt very comfortable with Dr. Polavarapu. His bedside manner was wonderful and his intelligence is evident. I will go back to him for all of my primary care from now on. Highly recommended.
Took 2 and a half hours to get a prescription refilled. Very nice and friendly Dr. Liked him a lot.
I didn't get the sense that I was getting particularly careful care. The doctor was generally nice, but I found discussing LGBT health topics to be more uncomfortable than I've experienced with other doctors and I think that was a barrier to effective/honest communication. Office wait times were pretty slow. They didn't collect copays like expected and ended up billing months later. The medical assistants there seemed inexperienced and unsupervised/mentored when collecting vitals and performing blood draws. Office staff generally didn't follow through on dealing with specific insurance processes.
A bit of a wait but the staff was so nice and they even had pizza for everyone in the waiting room!
Broken sink sitting floor in my exam room and long wait times.
Dr P is the best!
Horrible, horrible experience with Dr. Polavarapu. First, I waited in a crowded waiting room for over an hour despite having a Zocdoc appointment. He spent almost no time listening to my issues, and then prescribed me the exact same medication that I already had at home (I even showed him a photo of the meds - I guess he wasn't looking). The worst part: I was overcharged for my appointment by a significant sum. I called his office over a dozen times and was told I needed to call back to speak to the Office Manager. I am convinced that this person doesn't exist, as I never spoke to her. I ended up having my insurance company call, and I was promised a check in the mail. It has been over 10 months since my appointment, and I am still owed money by Dr. Polavarapu. Earlier this week, I was notified that I had a certified letter waiting for me at the post office from Dr. Polavarapu's office. After waiting an hour to collect the letter, I found that it wasn't the check, but a two-sentence note telling me that I missed an appointment (which, obviously, I never made). Dr. Polavarapu should be ashamed, and his staff is incompetent. Please do yourself a favor and see a different doctor. Literally anyone else.
I really like my doctor but the wait time is extremely wasteful and this happened more than once! At one point I thought they took lunch or something. If you arrive 10 to 15 minutes before your appointment, you should be seen at least within 30 minutes. Other than that, I think they are very helpful...
Wait was short, staff was great, good doctor . I will be coming back
I thought the doctor was thorough during the exam and was able to answer most of my concerns. I look forward to my follow up appointment in 2 weeks.
Dr. Polavarapu was easygoing and didn't make me feel rushed at all. Definitely would recommend to anyone seeking a personable physician.
Although the wait time was extremely long during my initial visit, the front desk staff as well as every other person in the office, including the doctor was extremely helpful and friendly. My follow up visits went much faster. The staff's warm demeanor is the reason why I will continue to return to this office.
It was very brief and he didn't really seem to think that my symptoms were an issue. I still plan on following up with him. Maybe after the test, Dr. Hari will see things differently!
I had a great expirence ! Such a friendly staff very nice doctor ! Will be going back
Terrible team. Wait two hours to get in and the doctors see your for five minutes. Not only that but they do not communicate, have no knowledge of ailments and received answers such as "nothing you can do" and "not sure." Do not recommend.
Besides the long wait time it was a good experience.
long wait times, office isn't very clean, intake took way longer than it should - overall a pretty terrible experience.
It was very easy and pleasant.
I've seen both doctors at this office now for sick visits because they're in my neighborhood. The wait time can be up to an hour to be seen and there are many many older people waiting in the waiting room it's hard to get a waiting chair. The offices are badly needing a make over or at least fresh coat of paint but the staff is very friendly and the Drs are knowledgable.
Great doctor very informative
The doctor was patient and very understanding
You can see how popular the doctor is in the community the minute you walk into the office it's full with waiting patients..recommend him highly very professional !
The office is tiny, cramped and was very hot. Other than that the girls at the desk were really friendly and Dr. Polavarapu was really great to interact with and took great care of me!
Was ok. He is a friendly guy and I liked him. I was surprised I had to wait so long because I had the first appointment of the day at his office. My appointment was at 10 (when his office opens), and he arrived at 11.
His office is in the projects and I'm convinced some people were in the small waiting room just to watch the soap opera on TV so it was quite cramped. His staff are all very very nice people and so is the doctor. However he said he was going to do some tests which he didn't end up doing. Maybe he didn't need to but he never explained that to me so I felt like he just forgot about it. He was good in a pinch, I made the appointment day of so can't complain. Prescribed me a whole lot of stuff which I never ended up taking and e-delivered my prescription to some weird pharmacy over on Myrtle in Clinton Hill which was a little out if my way. He's probably a pretty good doc, technically. And he is a very nice person as is his staff.
